I'm incredibly thankful for all the wonderful people I have in my life in New York and back home. Breakups aren't so bad when I know that I can come back home and receive unconditional love and support. I wasn't able to see everyone I had hoped and not everyone I love are in these photos but you all know who you are. I appreciate you all and am grateful for each and every one of you. Also doing this compilation made me realize I need to take more photos with loved ones 😓

Feels good to be hitting heavier weights again. For a while out here I had myself on a slow cut then even slower reverse diet doing nothing but hypertrophy-focused training. With Juan-y Flexxx's @agent_jschroth guidance, I'm journeying back into powerlifting and everything (except fucking squats) feel great. Deadlift - 335 × 2 Squat - 290 × 3 Bench - 215 × 3 (Also sorry not sorry for that squat thirst angle 🍑 - had to show y'all I hit depth)

I've never been more focused than I am now. I'm learning and getting better every day. Sales definitely wasn't something I ever thought I'd be a part of or enjoy, but it's been wonderful and such a great experience. In these last few weeks, I have felt very uncomfortable cold-calling but it's getting easier each call and I can see already how this carries over to other areas of my life. I'm so thankful for these opportunities and to be part of something bigger than myself: the shift in how company offices eat and the shift of healthcare from a treatment-based approach to a prevention-first focus. The picture is of my stretch goal and my only material driver for doing what I do: Having the means to reside in one of the condos within 432 Park Avenue. 1st time I was at Top of the Rock, I was instantly hooked and have been endlessly fascinated by it ever since. I'm excited for what's ahead and am thankful for all the blessings and opportunities I've taken advantage of and have been given to me.

Thankful I got to spend some time with @sqpetersen85 and her husband Nick today. The two of them, @patricia_cosa, and I had a great brunch then rode bikes around the park. It was nice to see family again.

Two really great podcasts were released this week. The first being @timferriss conversation with Samin Nosrat. My biggest takeaway from this episode is that impostor syndrome can affect anyone at any level of achievement; however, with most things, the importance lies in how you deal with the psychological stress you place on yourself and the systems you put in place to mitigate self-sabotaging behaviors and thoughts. The second podcast is from @powerfuljoerogan show with @biolayne and @dominic.dagostino.kt on an array of topics related to nutrition and health. Can't encourage this episode enough as the wealth of information among the two scientists is extremely useful for anyone trying to make a change with their health. One of the major points made is having an open mind and be willing to discuss and hear other people's opinions even if they differ from your own because that's how we continue to make progress.

This is a boring text-heavy post but I know I'll look back on it later and be thankful for the decision I made. It was tough leaving such a great school and program, but I never felt at home or in the right place whenever matters of school came up. It has been eating at me for some time now. Thanks to my friends and family for their support, which made the decision easier. Thank you especially to @patricia_cosa for being here with me and helping me navigate this crazy time in my life. I love you and appreciate you deeply. I choose to view this as an opportunity rather than a setback or failure. I'm excited to put myself to the test.
